    Install

    Add the extension to your browser or install the app on your phone.

  2. 02

    Connect

    Enter your server's address exactly as you open it, for example https://vault.example.com.

  3. 03

    Unlock

    Sign in with your username and master password, then turn on fingerprint or face unlock.

Install guides

Chrome, Edge, Brave: install from the zip
  1. Download dreyvault-chrome-2.0.0.zip and unzip it to a folder you'll keep.
  2. Open chrome://extensions (Edge: edge://extensions) and turn on Developer mode.
  3. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
  4. Pin DreyVault to the toolbar and connect it to your server.

This install doesn't update itself. The extension tells you when a new version is out: download the new zip, replace the folder's contents and click the reload icon on the extension's card.

Android: install the APK
  1. On your phone, tap Download the APK.
  2. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps, then go back and tap Install.
  3. Open DreyVault, enter your server address and sign in.
  4. In the app's settings, tap Autofill service and choose DreyVault. On Android 14+, also tap Passwords & passkeys provider.

To update, download the new APK and install it over the old one. Your vault and settings stay.

Firefox for Android
  1. Open this page in Firefox on your phone and tap Add to Firefox.
  2. Confirm Add, then open the menu → Extensions → DreyVault.
  3. Connect it to your server and sign in.
